Lisa, a Professional Landscape Architect (Maine and Massachusetts), and SITES AP (Accredited Professional). Lisa is the Principal and Lead for Studioverde’s Maine office. Her work exemplifies a lifelong interest in the restoration of nature’s systems and community engagement in the natural world.
Lisa has expertise in ecology-based planning + design, green infrastructure, wetland restoration, sustainable design + land management practices and applies her extensive practical experience to help clients achieve their goals for their properties, campuses and organizations.
Lisa was project lead on the design and implementation of the “Garden Alcoves” landscape art installation at the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building, a project that integrates sustainable landscape design and interpretive art.
Lisa is also an active writer, speaker and teacher on sustainable and ecological design topics, the importance of aesthetics and practical landscape management methodologies and the new SITESv2 rating system. Lisa is an officer ASLA’s Sustainable Design and Development Professional group, an editor for ASLA’s Field and co-chair of MaineASLA. Lisa was featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine for her pioneering work as a landscape architect in ecological design and wetland restoration. Lisa is in the inaugural class of SITES AP’s 2017.
