Glendale Regional Park, located on Salt Lake City’s (SLC) west side, is a 17-acre park proposed on the site of an abandoned water park. SLC set out to create a publicly accessible outdoor recreation area, a much needed resource for the underserved Glendale neighborhood.
Studioverde led the Design Workshop team’s efforts to achieve Gold Precertification. Comments from SLC staff included “We enjoyed the process! It was a great opportunity to identify the specific sustainability goals for the Park early and align them with our City-wide sustainability principles and priorities.”
SITES Precertification is a low cost option to set the stage for truly sustainable outcomes. Precertification can also be effective as a communication tool for community members, funding sources, municipalities, agencies, potential tenants and investors.
Studioverde has created an efficient and effective model for owners and their teams to achieve Precertification. Reach out to us today for more information.
