On October 23, 2015, Lisa Cowan, PLA will be leading a one day workshop at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Titled “Introduction to Ecological Restoration Techniques and Methods”.  Ecological restoration is the practice of renewing and restoring degraded, damaged, or destroyed ecosystems and habitats in the environment by active human intervention and action. She will focus on proven low impact methodologies and techniques for restoring and enhancing wooded areas, meadows, streams, wetlands, buffers and eroded slopes.

This course is part of the Certificate Program in Native Plants and Ecological Horticulture but is open to all, subject to availability.
