The Sustainable Sites Initiative (SITES v2) Rating System is Here!

June 24, 2014 by StudioVerde Filed Under: Blog

The most comprehensive system for developing sustainable landscapes, the SITES v2 Rating System, has been officially released by the Sustainable Sites Initiative™ (SITES™) program.  The SITES Rating System provides guidance for sustainable land design, development and land management practices that provide Triple Bottom Line benefits – good for the environment, people and the economy.

“When we design and manage our environment, we have the responsibility to do so in ways that conserve water, clean air and water, and reduce vulnerability to damage,” said SITES program director Danielle Pieranunzi. “SITES v2 will guide and reward exemplary projects that accomplish these important goals.”

The SITES Rating System provides excellent opportunities to demonstrate institutional, corporate and individual commitment to sustainability. Studioverde has been involved with the program since 2009, and can provide advisory, design and technical expertise to streamline the process.   Exciting news!
